We went on a family vacation with my brother and this kids (aged 15 and 12), while my husband and I are a retired couple. We normally would not have chosen this resort as a couple as it is geared towards families with kids, but we enjoyed it greatly as my niece and nephew had a great time, especially watching the shows in the evenings. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area, and lots of activities, so if your family is active, this is a great choice. We stayed in the Exclusive Collection suites, and having access to the lounge made the trip for us, especially being able to book the hot tubs on the lounge terrace every day after all of our hikes! The food is generally good, although some days were better than others - the day they had Mexican food (taco stand and tostada stand) plus mussels on offer was the best offering during our 5 day stay. Housekeeping is fast and efficient every day, which also added to a great stay.

I would like to acknowledge the massage therapist Cristobal. I received a 30min massage and from the get go he was very professional and respectful. My deep tissue massage was simply amazing! I highly recommend him.

Will definitely ask for him on my next visit

We had a great experience. It was our first Club Med stay, and I liked the all-inclusive environment. It's like a higher-end, non-travelling cruise. My six-year-old stayed with us some days and attended mini club other days. The kids' club has a pretty consistent routine of activities, but they stay busy with scavenger hunts, hikes, drawing, and games. The kids' club staff works really hard. Special shoutout to Sarah who was lovely. The staff speaks English, but many of the kids do not.
The food was good and there were plenty of options. However, I do wish there was a sit-down restaurant with more options included in the stay. The drinks were also good and the choices were extensive. Zach was a great bartender.
The resort is peaceful with an emphasis on physical activity. It's great for people who like to relax, work out, and eat. However, if you're looking for the beach, travel, or an adventure, you might want to stay elsewhere (although they do have mountain biking). The resort is not close to town.
They have fitness classes every day, including yoga, stretching, tabata, water aerobics, HIIT, etc. I took a couple of stretching classes which were okay and muscle awakening and abs and glutes with Sam who was a good and friendly instructor.
Everyone at the resort was friendly and the provided shuttle (if you book the plane with them) was very convenient and got us to the hotel and the airport right on time!
I will definitely consider coming back next summer.
