We had an amazing stay at Miches. The hotel is in a really dreamy, secluded location and it is perfect for a week gateway/

• the watersports team - Yorran from Brazil and Jonah from California - you guys were amazing and made our stay so much fun. Thank you for all your wing foiling tips, walk recommendations and dinner conversations.
• the yoga teacher Uri - your meditation class and sunset yoga class were very special, thank you!
• the tennis team - Jonathan thank you for showing us your perfect serve and all the Wimbledon conversations - hope to see you play there one day and Andrea (although, we know your usual location is club med Columbus Bahamas) thank you for making the tennis lessons so fun and so incredibly useful too.

We were supposed to go to CM Columbus Isle but due to the damage caused by hurricane Melissa, we were rerouted to CM Miches. The CM travel agents were wonderful in changing our flights and were very patient with our frantic calls when it appeared that those flights were cancelled due to the government shutdown. We made it to Miches with no problems and had a wonderful week. We had fun taking latin dance lessons with Naya. She kept us laughing when we messed up especially when she said más rápido, no es dificil. Marie's energy during crazy signs and zumba was amazing. She also made a special point to remember our names. Coco Plum was the place to go to for lunch and be sure to go there for dinner. Angel made thee best cocktails along with Kleyton. Theodora and Samuel were extremely helpful in securing that highly coveted dinner reservation. The coffee shop was a delicious surprise which we frequented often.

I visited Club Med Miches over the US Thanksgiving week with my family.
It is a beautiful, well run resort. The food is excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, while the resort was crowded we did not experience any long lines or difficulties. I really enjoyed all the activities and tried several new things, it was very easy to navigate the facilities and join classes. The evening entertainment is wonderful and the food was good, made varied and more exciting by different lunch BBQs and dishes on the beach and near the second restaurant.
But the absolutely most wonderful thing that I cannot stop talking about with my friends is the amazing child care staff!! The Mini and Petite Club staff are amazing. My children (ages 2, 4, and 6) not only were well cared for (leaving me to explore the resort during the day without kids) but they also had an amazing time trying out their own activities - trapeze, archery, the water slides in the kids swim area, the evening entertainment... I could go on. The quality of child care, from 9AM - 5PM and then again from 7PM -9PM is so good that it let me relax and enjoy myself more than I have in years. And it was really really neat to observe, from a distance, my kids participating in the activities and even on stage putting on a show!
The toughest customer was my 2 year old, who was not so happy at first being at the Petite Club, but the staff was patient, kind, and eventually he opened up and I saw him splashing in the pool and walking to the beach with his friends. A huge thank you to Elsa, Betchina, Hoodtina, Guy-Haarry, and Captain Doudou. You are amazing.
A huge thank you and an expression of absolute amazement to Killian, who leads the kids club staff with so much patience, vigor, and happiness that it was inspiring. He takes care of kids during the day and then coordinates quality entertainment in the evening to keep the little ones rooted to their seats. We are still repeating his nightly mantra: "Do you want to go to sleep..." and "I have some bad news, the kids club is now closed... but the good news is it will reopen tomorrow at 8:45AM (insert loud cheering)!!!!"
A final huge thank you to Leo, who was so patient with my youngest as he adjusted to the new environment, accompanied by his trusty stuffed animal monkey who the staff made sure he had at all times to make him feel more comfortable.
Overall I was so impressed by the whole experience that I literally booked another week at a different Club Med last night. As a parent, once you experience a vacation with 10 hours of quality, amazing child care, I don't know how you go back!

We just got back from an amazing trip to Club Med Miches! This was our first time staying at a Club Med resort and are giving it a high 4 stars because the staff and activities were incredible and fun. A few minor service issues held me back from giving a perfect 5 star rating (more on that below), but the resort's awesome energy, great entertainment and the unbelievable Kids Club make this place a total win for families and are the reasons we would love to go back!

The absolute best: The Kids Club (10/10)
This was seriously the highlight of our whole vacation. The kids club G.O.s (shoutout to Matthew, Betchina, Elsa, Princess, the rest of the crew for the 6 & 7s and 8-10s group and the manager, Killian) are absolute rockstars. The programming is so great that our kids woke up excited to go and stay there all day long. We practically had to beg them to eat dinner with us instead of the kids club every night. We were joking that the kids were actually the VIPs of the trip because of their treatment! If you're traveling with kids, especially high-energy kids like ours, the Kids Club is the reason to book this trip!

Staff, Entertainment and Wellness
The staff here is great--so lively and friendly. They create a very welcoming atmosphere. The resort had a great mix of things going on. For fitness, the classes and sports activities managed by the Sports Team lead, Max were excellent. Marie absolutely kicked my sister's and my butts in the full body workout in the best way. Uri is such a patient, helpful and calming yoga instructor who led my meditation and aerial yoga class. Having the concierge service via WhatsApp by staying in La Perla was also very helpful (thank you Soledad for helping out with our requests)!

La Perla Family Suites
We loved the layout of the La Perla suites with the separate bathroom and bedroom with cute canopy beds for the boys. Being able to enter and exit your room from the nice part of the beach was also a plus. We enjoyed less crowds at the private La Perla pool, too, which was beautiful and staffed by a wonderful bartender!

Dining
We enjoyed most of the food at the main buffet restaurant, Cayuco. It had enough variety to keep us going back the entire week. We had one nice dinner at Coal & Copper, which we did feel was worth the price. I especially loved the various lunch BBQs the resort put on at the beach or Coco Plum! I couldn't get enough of the fresh cut coconut water and BBQ chicken!

Some Cons
Here's why I couldn't give it a fifth star.

-Housekeeping and maintenance: This was the most inconsistent part of our stay. The musty smell and inconsistent housekeeping quality did not live up to the expectations of staying in the nice La Perla section. Part of the service of La Perla is turndown service every night, which we did not receive. Sometimes items would be replenished in our room (like beach towels) and other times not. My husband's cologne disappeared, too and management was not able to help us get it back.
Also, the pictures of these suites show a beautiful courtyard with lush plants separating the living room space and the kids room. In reality, it was just a bare tiled courtyard (all plants were gone) that did not look anything like the pictures. This was an immediate disappointment when we walked into our room. It was like this the two other La Perla suites that the rest of our family was staying in, too. These rooms could definitely use some updating to live up to the luxury advertising.
-Dining service: We mostly ate at Cayuco which had great food, but sometimes getting a table cleared or getting drinks refilled was very slow. The biggest food disappointment was the late lunch at Coco Plum. It was so bad that we were hesitant to even try it for any other meals.

Overall, we would love to go back because all the pros far outweighed the cons. Kudos to all the staff at Club Med for making this such a relaxing, yet fun family vacation!

Just got back from a week at Club Med Miches and it was all a dream! Dream location, dream staff… we had a fab time with my family.
Special mention to the fitness instructor, Marie, for kicking our butts everyday! Merci Marie! She’s a gem.

And the entire Mini club crew. So accommodating, lovely, patient and knew all the kids names in just a day! Killian et toute son équipe sont extraordinaires! Merci à Capitaine Doudou pour sa patience et attention. À Coco, Yasmine et Mymy d’aussi bien s’occuper des petits. Une équipe en or! On dirait qu’on les connaît depuis toujours. We’ll be back!
