Kani REPÚBLICA DAS MALDIVAS

Club Med Kani is set on a verdant green island with beautifully manicured white sandy beaches and surrounded by an azure blue shallow lagoon for snorkelling.
It’s full of local wildlife such as fruit bats , lizards, land hermit crabs and the White Breasted Waterhen which is the Maldivian National Bird. Be warned ! They are very small but very noisy :). Watch out also for “ Bernard” the heron who comes to the outdoor dining and will raid your table if given half a chance.

The Club Med service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. A deserved mention for Juliet & Isla in reception for dealing with our special requests. We were very impressed with range and quality of the food and were especially well looked after by Enes and his dining staff team. Finally a big thank you to Christine for encouraging me to take up her chilled-out stretch classes on the beach at sunset.

The scuba diving is available onsite with Euro- divers Kani with up to three dives a day including an occasional night dive. A very professional service with beautiful dive sites which I have reviewed in detail separately.

Excellent stay. I loved club med Kani , one of my favorite places and the best team I. The service was top notch and every guest felt like totality .
I believe that it is all in the management from top to bottom .
My room was fantastic . I did not want to leave !
I was met at 6:00 am upon my arrival with beautiful Candice who took me to my room immediately . She was the first to meet and the last upon my departure.
The reception team was so welcoming and warm : NAT , Nabile , Juliet and Schafix.
I am so grateful for their hospitality and their friendship . The beautiful ladies joined me for dinner as I was a solo traveler .
The activities were great and the head of sports , Yousri was so amazing and energetic Christine and Atanas and the sailing and the circus team were beyond excellent and motivating . I enjoyed my daily classes and paddle tennis with Atanas and the yoga , running and Pilates with Christina and was looking forward daily to meet them and enjoy their classes and they would also join me for dinners and we became friends
The food was amazing from : Indian , Chinese , italian . French and the unforgettable local tuna.
I must thank Yigit food and beverage manger and Enes my now amazing friend for all their dedication and special attention to the needs of every guest.
We had daily entertainment and a special night activity that was headed by the GM Ragab himself and Yousri . They were so energetic and engaging and made everyone enjoy themselves and have the best time .
The Maldives and club Med Kani were one of my best holiday destination thanks to their team and my very special thanks to Mr. Ragab Rabie , the GM . Who is doing a great job with the club and his guests and team He is so caring , meticulous , personable and fun . Total respect My gratitude and thanks for club Med Kani for a great vacation and will sure return and share my experience ❤️❤️❤️

Our recent stay at the Overwater Suites in Club Med Kani was a mix of highs and lows. While the hospitality from the team was exceptional, the accommodations left much to be desired.

We stayed in Room 115 initially, but it had a window that was boarded up, which felt disappointing for an overwater suite experience. We later moved to Room 168, which was better, but still, the suite itself felt dated and in need of refurbishment. The electrical plugs and USB ports beside the bed were not working, adding to the inconvenience. It’s hard not to notice the stark difference in quality compared to Club Med Finolhu.

What made the trip memorable, however, was the warmth and hospitality of the GO team. A special shout-out to Aldynai at the Manta Reception, Titi at the Kani Reception, Sana at the Manta Bar, and familiar faces like Celene (whom we know from Club Med Bali) and Nox (whom we know from Club Med Cherating). Their friendship and exceptional service are the reasons we keep coming back to Club Med.

While the hospitality shines, it’s time for the overwater suites to be brought up to the standard one expects from Club Med. We hope to see improvements in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in ClubMed Kani. From the exclusive collection manager Candice and the GOs at the reception of the Exclusive Collection, the bartenders at the Exclusive Collection bar and the chef and staff at the restaurant, every one of them made our stay an unforgettable experience. We want to special thanks the Mini club GOs Fatima, Valentino, Emma, Safa and the family manager Chicken who made our daughter's stay very special. Their care, enthusiasm, and professionalism made us worry-free since we knew she was happy and in good hands. We also can't thank the executive chef Bhaskar enough for his special attention to my heath diet as he always provided me with amazing food experience. Also, the GOs and staff at the restaurant restaurant manager Manu, restaurant supervisor Mojbor, assistant restaurant manager Enes, restaurant supervisor Suman, chef Sajikumar who prepared our romantic dinner, Shafaau, who served our romantic dinner, Rajkumar and Syam, sous chef Walid - all of them with their attention, professionalism and sympathy made our stay an unique experience. This list couldn't be complete without expressing our thanks to the chief of village Ragab and the food and beverage manager for all their availability and attention to detail to create the wonderful memories that will stay with us forever.

It was a lovely experience on a paradise with amazing hospitality from Dudu, Su, Siva, Egypt fitness manager and the very hospital Enes, who gave us the freshest oven-bake fish and had a great eye for detail, always checking in on our table during our meals. Thanks to Enes we felt so well taken care of at every meal :) Also my family's nurse shark trip overran and Siva went the extra mile to make sure we still made it to our next excursion! We also had great conversations with Dudu and Su. Thank you to all GOs!
