I visited Club Med Lijiang as a solo traveller during the low season and had such a refreshing, peaceful stay. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning mountain scenery.

This resort feels a bit different from other Club Meds, as it’s more catered to Chinese guests, which made my stay even more interesting and authentic. I really appreciated the local touches and warm hospitality.

They also offer unique experiences, like professional photoshoot services, which are a great way to capture memories with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong) in the background. The location near Baisha Village is ideal for exploring Lijiang’s culture and charm.

A big thank you to the amazing GOs — Zai Zai, Fa Fa, Arya, Ovi, Krystal, Allen, Alicia, Rodrigo, Luca, Ethan, Kevin, River, Kun, Bella, and many others who made my stay so memorable.

One small suggestion: it’d be wonderful to see more local cultural programmes, like Naxi dance or music workshops, to complement the experience.

Notes for guests: Please bring UV protection, due to its location, the sunrays are quite strong.

We had a memorable 6days stay in Club Med Lijiang. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome by the Resort Manager and her team.

As the estate sits at 2,400m above sea level, Ms Tatiana had kindly arranged for an oxygen bottle to be sent to our room to help us acclimatize to the thin air, a gesture we deeply appreciated.

We were deeply touched by the exceptional care of the team. Ms. Tatiana thoughtfully assigned Mr. Evan, a Guest Relations Officer, to attend to our vegetarian parents’ dietary needs, ensuring every meal was enjoyable and worry-free. At the same time, Front Desk GO Ms. Charon (旋旋) had kindly fetched our elderly parents from their room to the dining area during meal time, giving us peace of mind as we explored the mountain. Their attentiveness and genuine warmth made our stay truly comfortable and memorable.

Love the place.Must try the food and drink there.Also,The evening shows were great.Definitely recommend going there.

The staff were really great, especially Amirul, Cherish, Marvin and Tanya. They were super helpful, friendly and made our stay better overall.

The scenery is breath taking. They offer lots of activities including sports, nature and cultural for families to participate in. I would like to shout out to GO Darren from the reception team who welcomed us and accommodated us with lots of initiative, and care to ensure we are well taken care of and given very comfortable and clean rooms. He also took the time to explain to us and offered us his personal WeChat account in case we need his help. Another shout out is to GO Alicia from the kitchen who despite being so busy, has taken the initiative to explain the food, and share with us places close by to go for shopping and sightseeing. She has also gone out of her way to show us care by packing a small goodie bag for the kids as she knows we have a long train ride the next day. Generally, the GOs are really fun and caring for all the guests. I also want to shout out to James from kitchen. He accommodated to our requests very warmly. As I have been to many clubmed villages, I find this clubmed lacks international engagement and warmth. Most of the GOs and staffs cannot converse in English. They also lack warmth maybe because of language barrier. There is definitely room for improvement on the culture and warmth that Clubmed prides on.
