Columbus Isle BAHAMAS

We went there for the diving and it was great. We saw hammerhead sharks, flourishing reefs, playful groupers and a whole lot more. The dive boats were state of the art and the crew was exceptional. I highly recommend this resort if you want to dive. Also, the food was great and plentiful.

Wonderful week, meeting great people. When we arrived in San Salvador we did not have our luggage (Club Med, please ensure there is ample time during connections for the luggages to be transferred). we were well taken care of when the employees realized we had no luggage. The GEO's took care of us and immediately reassured us and brought us to our room and then the boutique where we got some essentials. First thing we noticed was the colour of the water which was stunning. Activity wise, we truly enjoyed our yoga class and our 1st week teacher Eliane which was really amazing as a person and as a yoga teacher, it seemed like her class was attracting 30 to 40 yogi's every day. Her quotes were also very good and always appropriate. If I was living in Montreal, I would definitely participate in her classes.
We went snorkelling every day and although the corals are mostly dead, we saw some nice fish such as Permits, a sting ray, barracuda, and lots more.
We also enjoyed Petancle every day with Isabella who was in charge of Petancle during apéro hour, she made our experience so fantastic in every possible way from teaching us the rules, making sure we all had drinks during the games, to cheering and organizing the games.
Another activity we really enjoyed, especially with the wind we had was sailling, always exciting and fun to be on the water.
Food was amazing, although as a Celiac with dairy allergy it was at time challenging, I always found fish and vegetables to eat that were delectable.

Everyone was super friendly and always ready to help. The food was delicious at all times, big thanks to Chef Pablo and the Grill Master for the amazing flavors! At the bar, shoutout to Pablo and Antonio for the spicy margaritas, and to Meko for bringing out the most original cocktails every day! Ari and Omar not only mixed great drinks but also gave us great tips about the activities around the property, don't forget Charlotte as well. Charles, Gage, and JJ absolutely killed it at the DJ booth!

Our room was always clean and regularly refreshed, which was great. The beach and water were simply incredible, just make sure to pack some sunscreen! I spent most of my days with the water sports crew, and huge thanks to them for all their hard work. I improved a lot at wing surfing and sailing! All the activities, including the two-hour tour and the race, were unforgettable. Special shoutout to Behruz, Sacha, Andrian, Maria, Tony, and Jon for being so caring and attentive.

I didn’t get the chance to play tennis with Guedi, even though he welcomed me every day to join his classes. If I hadn’t injured myself, I definitely would’ve loved to challenge him!

Everyone from GOs to GEs were super friendly and helpful. The food offering was plenty and a great rotating selection. Special thanks to Ophelia for her almond cookies, Pablo for his calamari egg noodles and the other Pablo for his sour margaritas! Housekeeping was attentive and took great care of us, rooms were comfortable and clean - just need a bit of attention to mildew in some areas. We couldn’t get enough of the sunsets and the turquoise waters. We enjoyed all the water activities the resort has to offer - big shout out to Behruz, Sacha, Andrian for their care and attentiveness!
