We had such a wonderful mother-daughter trip to Club Med, and once again, we were reminded exactly why we love returning to Club Med time and time again. What makes Club Med so special isn’t just the beautiful surroundings, activities, food, and entertainment—it’s truly the people. The kindness, warmth, dedication, and incredible work ethic of the staff made our stay both relaxing and so much fun.
From the moment we arrived, the Jade reception team — Jade, Juan Luis, Erik, Daniel, David, Christian, and Thony — made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. They were always kind, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. Elroy, our bellboy, was wonderful as well, and we also appreciated both Cipranio and Elroy with the golf carts. Their friendliness and helpfulness made getting around effortless.
As we arrived via shuttle from the airport to Jade reception, Jade, Erik, and Elroy were there waving and greeting us with friendly smiles and hugs, making us feel at home already. Elroy immediately helped with our bags—fast, efficient, and extremely welcoming.
Throughout our stay, the Jade reception team went above and beyond caring for us, talking with us, and showing genuine interest in our day-to-day experiences. I especially enjoyed conversing with them about my snorkeling adventures.
Jade, who works at Jade, is incredibly competent. She is a clear communicator, and has a kind demeanor. She saw I had no one to slow-dance with during one of the songs at the evening show (White Night) and came up to me in her angel costume and danced with me. That moment meant a lot to me. She encouraged me on the dance floor on other nights as well and has such a warm, uplifting personality.
Juan Luis, Erik, Daniel, David, Christian, and Thony were all true gentlemen—kind, courteous, and genuinely caring. We enjoyed conversing with them in the evenings during cocktail hour, and their energy and encouragement on the dance floor was always appreciated.
A huge thank-you to the Jade bartenders — Jesus, Ademir, Daniel, Jaime, Eliseo, Erasmo, Sylvia, and Patricia. They were hardworking, friendly, and always made the atmosphere fun and welcoming. Their positive energy was such a memorable part of our days. They remembered our names and drink orders, assisted us without us even asking, moved umbrellas, set up towels, and served drinks, appetizers, and breakfast with such care and kindness. They even remembered us from our previous visit in April 2026.
The food was another highlight of our trip! Jorge, Jose, and Guadalupe, the Jade chefs, did an amazing job, and Jose made the salsa cooking class such a fun and memorable experience. I can’t wait to teach my extended family how to make traditional Mexican salsa. We loved being able to participate and learn together. Jorge, Jose, and Guadalupe also went out of their way to prepare vegan dishes for my mom and allergy-friendly meals for me, making us feel safe, included, and truly cared for.
At Taco Arte and La Hacienda, we received such wonderful service from Rafael, Jaqueline, Denise, Leidi, and Maria. They were attentive, hardworking, and always made us feel welcome. Francisco, the greeter, was equally wonderful and greeted us with such warmth. He remembered we enjoy tables closest to the water and always helped connect us with chefs regarding dietary needs. We also want to recognize the talented chefs Irad, Xavier, Juan, and Mario for all of their hard work and delicious meals. They went out of their way to accommodate my allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, and dairy) with allergy-friendly pizza and pasta options, while also preparing vegan meals for my mom such as vegan burgers, tofu, and vegetable dishes.
My only wish for improvement at Club Med Cancún is vegan ice cream and vegan desserts (no dairy!).
A special thank you to Gaby at Fresh Juice who carefully selected fresh produce to create delicious juices with such care and attention. Having fresh juice was such a lovely part of our morning routine at Club Med Cancun and Gaby’s kindness made it even better.
We had so much fun with all of the activities as well. Alex, the snorkeling lifeguard, helped make our snorkeling experience feel safe and enjoyable. He took the time to share the names of the fish I saw and supported me in capturing photos and videos of marine life, including a barracuda, on my underwater camera. Italia, Max, Will, Paulo, and Pablo from Watersports were fantastic—enthusiastic, helpful, and always encouraging us to have fun. Max even went out of his way to patiently teach my mom how to sail. He was kind, patient, and a great teacher. My mom really enjoyed kayaking, and I loved paddle boarding.
Nelson, JackPower, and Obed from fitness and land sports brought so much positive energy to the resort and made staying active genuinely enjoyable.
The evening entertainment was another highlight. Sandy and Jose Miguel, the dancers, were wonderful and brought so much energy and talent to the shows. I was astonished at their dancing ability—completely captivated by their stage presence, and their ability to energize, inspire, and uplift the entire crowd was incredible. We also want to recognize Lalo, who worked on the lights and sound for the evening shows. So much work happens behind the scenes to create those special evenings, and it definitely did not go unnoticed.
We absolutely loved the evening shows, especially knowing they are performed by the GOs—the same people we see throughout the day who work so hard to make the resort experience special. It is truly magical to see the GOs shine at night, stepping into the spotlight and bringing such contagious energy, joy, and passion to the stage. It feels like the entire village comes alive, and that energy is something you can feel in your soul.
My mom and I also really appreciated the new Chief of the Village, Théo, thoughtful touches throughout the resort. (Theo is also the name of my beloved 70 pound black labradoodle, Theos rock!) My mom, a long time club med guest, noticed a positive shift in energy, the return of some classic Club Med traditions like the fun “Hands Up”, more 70’s and 80’s music during dancing, and GOs dressing beautifully in the evening dress code button down crisp fashionable outfits. We love the evening dress codes—it makes participating feel even more fun, festive, and immersive, and we truly enjoyed dressing up and being part of it.
We especially enjoyed White Night, and the White Night evening show completely blew us away. The acrobatic and aerial performances were breathtaking and unforgettable. We were in awe of the talent and artistry on display.
While we personally wish the “Music Factory” show would return, and are not the biggest fans of Michael Jackson night, we still deeply appreciate the energy, effort, and enthusiasm that goes into every single evening show. Each night brings something unique, and the dedication of the performers and GOs is always felt and appreciated.
At the Main Reception, Deivy and Alonso were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Alonso is very hardworking, kind, a good listener, and a great problem solver. We enjoyed catching dinner with him and also with Max on a couple of evenings during our stay.
At the Boutique, Victoria and Sammy were so sweet and helpful, especially when helping us pick out a “45” shirt. It’s those personal interactions and little moments that we remember long after the vacation is over. They helped us find the right style and size and made the experience fun and easy.
Every one of the employees contributed something special to our trip. We were continually impressed by how kind, hardworking, dedicated, friendly, and genuinely caring everyone was. Even while working incredibly hard, the staff always seemed to have a smile, share a laugh, or take a moment to make our experience better.
Club Med gave us exactly what we hoped for from our mother-daughter getaway: quality time together, laughter, fun, relaxation, wonderful food, activities, entertainment, and memories we’ll cherish forever.
There is a reason we love returning to Club Med time and time again. The resort may be beautiful, but it is the people who make the experience truly unforgettable. We left feeling relaxed, happy, grateful, seen, appreciated, loved, and already looking forward to returning.
