Punta Cana REPÚBLICA DOMINICANA

The amenities and rooms are a bit out of date definitely not as nice as others resort I had been to in the past. The food is a hit and miss even at their fancy restaurant. I do enjoy the convenience of the bar near the beach. There were also some very nice hotel’s staffs going out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience especially Yomaira. She was kind and very accommodating to our 8 months old son. Thanks Yomaira!

This was our 4th ClubMed trip, but first time to Punta Cana. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there despite the construction, I can't wait to see what the resort looks like when the construction is finished later this year.

Kids - We traveled with our 6 and 3 year olds. They went to the miniclub/petit club nearly every day. They had a blast and were so exhausted at the end of each day, they can't wait to go back. Special shout out to the best GO's ever! Rose, Banana, Ismael, Karla, Ronaldo, Mirdwine, Leo, Faye, Slandra, Laurie, Betsaida, Cassandra. Our 6 year old went kayaking, sailing, and spent a lot of time practicing on the trapeze so that on the last day he could try a special trick. He was so proud of himself.

Rooms – We upgraded to the family room resort center – New/renovated room. I’m so glad that we upgraded. The room was very nice and the location was great – close to everything. The AC worked well and the kids had a separate room with a door that closed for better sleeping for everyone.

Food – The food was pretty good. We ate at Hispaniola almost every night for dinner, but had a special birthday dinner at Indigo. Romain and the staff went out of their way to make sure the meal was memorable. That was one of our best experiences there.

The facilities are great (beach/pool), etc. The new water park was a huge hit with the kids and they spent a lot of time playing there. We did a snorkel excursion and saw amazing fish.

Our family is so excited to go back again and see the resort after the renovations are completed.

It is our third time in Club med Punta Cana.
Our older daughter loved her Petit club teachers so mush, she asks when we're coming back almost every day: Arielle, Laurie, Slandra, Mirdwine, Betsaida and Cassndra.

The care for the kids (also for our younger son) is exceptional, loving and worm.

My disappointment is from the way we were greeted upon arrival: the staff looked confused. As our room wasn't ready yet (it was 2:30 pm), he asked for our phone number to notify us when it is. 4pm arrived and crickets. We had to go to the temporary reception (due to the fire last year) and only then we were told our room will be ready in 30 min (they totally forgot about us!)

My daughter Chloe (age 6) and I had a wonderful time at Club Med Punta Cana -- we love it here! First, the weather in Punta Cana was incredible -- sunny and gorgeous every day this week (April 20-27, 2025). Also, the facilities are such fun: from the brand new waterpark to the giant pool, to the fabulous pickleball courts and the circus trapeze. They go out of their way for the kids, creating new adventures on the lawn every day. One day, they'll have bounce houses, the next, a mechanical bull or slip and slides and a barbeque for everyone, and Mini Club, where the kids play under the Club Med staff supervision, is such fun for them and gives the adults free time. My daughter even went on a catamaran, and multiple times. While she was at Mini Club, I played pickleball and relaxed a bit. Huge special shout outs to Oliver, the pickleball coach, and to Leo, who supervised my daughter and her crew (kids age 6-7) at Mini Club -- they were amazing! Oliver was a fabulous coach! He taught me how to do a top spin shot and best footwork at the net. Leo was a fabulous G.O. (Gentle Organizer), too, who my daughter said took great care of the kids. I saw him in action and she was right. It was also so nice to see the kids perform in a show. Their GOs rehearsed with them for it and on the night of the show, the parents came out to watch it and were treated to great performances and even a video beforehand of what the kids did in Mini Club, although the videographer sped so fast through everything, it was hard to catch individual faces in it. (That would be the only thing I'd change -- get your videographer to slow the motion down.) We have come to the Club Med in Punta Cana multiple times.

We had an amazing stay at Club Med Punta Cana, returning for the second year in a row. Amazing ambiance, great food and a wonderful kids club!
